CSE personnel served as the sole electrical engineer to design power, lighting and low voltage infrastructure for a new, residential treatment facility which included dormitory spaces, a commercial kitchen, training, and conference rooms, as well as administrative support spaces. The facility is pursuing LEED certification.
The project required utility coordination, short circuit and coordination studies, building power distribution systems analysis and design, building and site lighting design, light spill analysis, lighting simulation and illuminance calculations, low voltage system analysis and design, shop drawing review, supplemental instruction and change directive creation, site observation and construction progress documentation, and coordination with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
“We have worked with Miles Jordan for a number of years on a variety of different types of design projects (most recently The Palmetto Center for SCVRD – Florence, SC) and have always found him to be professional, knowledgeable regarding code issues, and very responsive to questions, coordination issues and the owner’s needs. It is without hesitation that I would recommend his services to other architects and owners. We look forward to our continued working relationship with Miles and Critical Systems Engineering, LLC on future projects.”
